The Management of “ELAIKOS“ has:
- ensured the highest level of quality in the products it provides, in accordance with both the specifications of current Greek legislation and customer requirements, and
- has documented its food safety policy and objectives.
Each Department Head is responsible for ensuring that the objectives of the food safety policy are understood, implemented, and maintained within their area of responsibility.
The company’s strategic goal is to fully meet the needs of its customers.
More specifically, the goal of the “ELAIKOS“ company is:
- Bottling and distribution of extra virgin olive oil.
- Manage tasks in such a way as to achieve the best possible results while making optimal use of resources and personnel.
- To meet its customers’ expectations by preventing errors at every level of the Company’s operations and by continuously improving its Food Safety Management System, and to meet theagreed-upon safety requirements of its customers.
- To comply with all rules of good hygiene practices at every stage of production, from the procurement and storage of raw and auxiliary materials to the production, storage, and shipment of products to customers.
- To Demonstrate sensitivity to environmental issues, occupational health and safety, and social responsibility.
- Company executives should consistently strive to improve quality within their areas of responsibility.
To achieve these goals, the company:
- Selects its suppliers based on specific criteria.
- Monitors operations within the company at all stages of its development.
- Inspects the equipment he purchases and ensures that it has all the required certifications.
- Continuously trains its staff to keep their knowledge up to date and to ensure employee engagement and collaboration
- Ensures that its facilities are maintained in a condition that guarantees food safety (GSP, GMP, GHP)
- Ensures the proper operation of its Food Safety Management System and its annual review and improvement, guaranteeing the technical adequacy and soundness of all its operations.
